4.9 PLACE OF RESIDENCE
The statutary residence of the Foundation Stichting Cervantes Benelux is Amsterdam. Regarding a world wide exposure of the company the strategical top and the main office, as well as the European Cervantes Foundation, will be established in Stratford-upon-Avon, the birth place town of William Shakespeare.

As soon as a Belgian paragraph will have been introduced in this business plan an office can be established in Belgium. Therefore on the 26th of July 1997 the collaboration has been asked of the Belgian Prime Minister. Until now (18th of July 2005) the Belgian government has not yet reacted. However the Spanish Instituto Cervantes in Brussels already functions as such under the jurisdiction of Instituto Cervantes Benelux. For the task force Spanish in Education, Research and Business of the Radboud University Nijmegen in the Netherlands this is a nice task to work out. A Spanish office can be located in the Malaca Instituto in Málaga. An American office can be located in Rennert Bilingual Institute in New York. The main location on the European continent in principle will become the Palacio de Congresos Costa del Sol in Torremolinos and the Hotel Cervantes established there.
